Server Event!!!

Hey guys so I decided to spice it up a little on the server and I want to plan a server event. This event can be anything you guys want it to be and that's the cool thing. We need your feedback to make this awesome and fun for everyone! Whoever wins will receive 5 tokens to use on any sub-server! I have several game ideas which ill list below along with the rules for it. Note that it is not guaranteed that we may choose one of them.

Battle Dome
Battle Dome is a really simple and fun game. Players will be placed inside of a giant dome that has been divided in half for each team. The goal of the game is simple. Either kill everyone on the enemy team or destroy their obsidian. Each team will be placed on either half of the dome. When the game begins you have 15-45 minutes (depending on how many players participate) to gather supplies, and build a base. After that time is over you will have an additional 5-10 minutes (again this depends on how many players play) to get ready to pvp. After this time is over pvp will be enabled and the barrier between the two halves will be removed. Each team will receive 1 obsidian block to place inside their base. This game is all in all very fun and easy to play.

Battle Siege
This game is also very fun and simple to play. There's 2 teams. One team is defense and the second team is offense. The defensive team will consist of only a few players so it is balanced. The offensive team will have lots and lots of players. The times will be similar to Battle Dome so 15-45 minutes build phase and 5-10 minutes preparation phase. The defensive team will be given creative during the build phase. Their objective is simple. They have to build a base that keeps the players out. They can use anything they want to build this base. The only gear they will be given will be full diamond with protection 1, a sharp 1 diamond sword and a bow with power 1 with a stack of arrows each. They will not be given any gapples. Keep in mind that the defensive team will consist of very few players compared to the offensive team, so it will be harder for them to survive even with their gear. The offensive team has the whole time to themselves to go out and get gear and get ready to fight. The game is over when one team is destroyed. The standing team will win.

UHC
This will be like a few months ago. Pretty self explanatory.

OP HG
I kinda made this up but we can probably set up a Hunger Games for like 30+ ppl and have a huge HG game. Maybe we can even have it like the real thing and go to a random world and set it up there so it's like you're in the forest and stuff. Suggestions for this would be appreciated.

Mini Games Night
This was recommended a while ago and it seems like a pretty good idea. Basically a day where for a few hours everyone would go into mini games and have fun playing bridges, turf wars, block hunt, etc and just chilling out and having fun. We can have a leaderboards and see who won the most games and have prizes for the top three and everything.

HUGE EDIT NOTICE
I have decided to remove the mini games night as an option. I know many of you will be disappointed because you have chosen this to be the event. There is nothing stopping everyone from having a huge minigames get together and we can always arrange that. However for now since we are planning a server event, we wanted it to be different and we wanted it to be something the server never had before such as battle dome or battle siege. Sorry if you are disappointed in this decision. We have also thought of some more games.

Bio-Domes
This game is essentially the same as Battle-Dome, however teams will be placed in giant floating glass orbs which each contain a different biome in. The rules are the same. The glass domes are floating in the void and are connected via bridge. There is only one dome connecting the two teams together and access to this dome will be allowed when the pvp phase begins.

TNT Wars
This game is very fun and requires some skill and basic knowledge of redstone to play. Teams will be placed on two islands very far from each other with a huge brick wall in the middle. The teams will create TNT cannons and destroy the wall, thus letting them fire at the enemy team. Whoever is left standing first wins.

Castle Siege
Although the name sounds similar to battle siege, this game is a much different game. There will be two teams with one team, the defense, having less players. The defense will be placed inside of a castle armed with full protection 1 diamond, sharpness 1 diamond sword, power 1 bow, 2 stacks of arrows, and 5 gapples each. The other team, the offense will be equipped with full leather and wood swords. There is a catch however. The team with the leather has unlimited respawns, while the defensive team only has 3 respawns each with a 60 second respawn cooldown. The objective for the defense team is to hold off the incoming hordes of players and survive for 15 minutes. The offensive team's goal is to kill off all of the defensive team. Teamwork is crucial in this game, and is perfect for the hardcore pvp'er.

 

Maybe a uhc event againt?

 

If you read the thread it says that one possibility is a uhc event. If thats what you want then vote for that in the poll.

 

there should really be a pvp event like for the fun of it. mainly because the large population of the server are Pvpers you could probably ask liz that, that most people go straight to Kitpvp once they join

 

A cool game I thought about was a redstone lab.

 

Most of these events are pvp.

 

We are not thinking of new games. We are thinking about doing a large scale event for only 1 day to bring some fun to the server.

 

no i ment pvp specific. as in i dunno who can get the most kills in 20 minutes and things like that or mob arena etc

i remember a while ago me and a couple ppl played it on a private server together and i was the dude who made the castle thing. basically i left them like 50 traps xD

Make sure to check out the edited thread. We have removed minigame night and added 3 new event ideas.

 

It all depends on how long it would take to set up the game. We also have to wait for pvp 3 to finish and prison 2 might delay the event.
