Battledome Event - Weekend July 30th-31st

"We dont have time to write code for battledome" "We're only releasing other things after we finish prison 2" "people dont want to play battledome"
Now im just waiting until someone claims this idea as their own.

 

Is it gonna be staff vs players?

 

Instead of kill feeds saying "Player 1 has slain Player 2" etc. Maybe spice it up to something like "Player 2 has ShadowXCrafted Player 2" or "Player 1 DJDarooded Player 2" (Sorry Dan, had to. xD). Something that players can easily recognize like I mentioned, players can relate that to @DJDan since it sounds like his IGN.

 

YES finally! I have been practicing for a few months on a server *Forgot the rules so i had to edit*
(Before Battledome got taken off ;( ) so I got the best strats .
Anyway you should add that when you kill animals there food is already cooked but you still have to smelt your own Iron and instead of 15 min lets o 20 min. Make sure you make it possible for players to make there own base and let the game randomly decide who is the captain and this captain spawns with the obsidian and it is in the top of your inventory (not the hand). that's my extra ideas

Maybe Player 1 RKO Player 2 or Player 1 shrekt Player 2?

 

But, what is Battledome? I Think it would be fun, but Prison2 and Factions 3.0 is still in work, i think that if we Start doing Battledome, we'll stop making Factions 3.0 or make it like 1 month ago, like the same happened as Prison2.
But, i'm not sad about that! Staff will not forgot it.

Its basically a huge glass dome which players are placed inside of. There Are 2 teams and each team has their own half of the dome. You have a build time to get resources and build a base, then a 5 minute prep time then you battle. You win by either wiping out the entire enemy team or by breaking the other teams obsidian.

 

Before i get to many ideas i would like to ask some questions. How big would the dome be? Is it similar to bridges but in a dome? And will there be build restrictions?(Like you can't build a certain depth or height)

I did search up "battledome minecraft" and found some result but it looks a lot like bridges just in a dome and you build your own base. It also looks similar to a bunch of defend your castle minigames, just again you build your own castle. But anyway back to the ideas. First build a wall in the middle of the dome separating the two sides to encourage people not to rush that disappears when the battle round starts. Once a base obsidian block has been placed maybe there could also be minor base obsidian that could be resource bases. And when the opposing team destroys those obsidian they gain that base and make the opposing teams obsidian easier to mine and their own teams obsidian harder. I have more ideas but i would like someone to fully explain what battledome is before so i don't over complicate things

Maybe you can add sudden events e.g EVENT:First team to kill 20 zombies wins! Then the team that killed the most zombies gets a prize like 8 iron or something.

BUT so everyone is active each player must kill atleast 2 zombies??
