Hardcore Suggestions for SXC

    Hey guys, I'm just here to drop some suggestions about the server before I depart. I guess I have had a lot of suggestions from other players for a while and never got the chance to tell the staff about them, but here I am now in a proper way so ya'll don't forget ;). **Just to be clear, all suggestions are from old shadowxcraft players, which I 100% agree with**

    ~Anti-Cheat
    ~Easier chat to the eyes
    ~more staff
    ~new type of kitpvp (like invadedlands) *please remove after checking it out*
    ~better reasons to donate
    ~better sales
    ~fix battlearenas:
    • unranked
    • ranked
    • fix /duels
    • fix pots so they arent stacked

    ~possible OP Prison and Skyblock
    ~fix filter (less strict/msg doesn't go through to the public if filter is triggered)
    ~less strict rules

    ~One kitpvp (1.8-1.11)
    ~more time on taking suggestions from the players
    ~treat players like actual people
    ~more unique gamemodes
    • compared to hypickel (remove after reading)
    ~more minigames

    If anyone else would like to add a comment about the suggestions, or would like to add one, just reply below in this thread. Hopefully this is where all the main suggestions can be in one place for the staff.

    I have never been told (based on my memory) it is hard to read. Can you please explain what makes it hard to read and a suggested way to format it?

    I will message you once work on KitPVP version 3.2 starts

    Do you think it should be done using a 1.8.8 backend or do you think plugins that mimic old style PVP would be good? (NOTE: They are a lot better than what I did it KitPVP version 3.0 originally)

    That is the goal of Prison 2.0, and until it is completed, it will be the primary focus, made by X1X and me with occasional help. We're trying!

    We are switching from a donation setup to an actual shop setup. The shop will have items available for purchase that will give you ingame perks.

    The shop v1 is planned to be released soon. I am estimating a 2w or less. I will be setting a deadline/release date once a few more things are discussed between Liz and I.

    Shop Beta Preview. Note this may not be exactly what you will see when the shop is released. More items will be added to the shop at a later time.

    It's not hard to read, but the chat is just really annoying sometimes. You first have the subserver in which a player is in, a donor tag if someone donated, then tag if the subserver gives you one, your IGN, and then your message. To me, it can sometimes be a little too much. And sometimes it would be nice not to talk in global since at times there are weird conversations that occur. Perhaps there can be a command that allows you to toggle in and out of global chat, and into the subservers chat?

    Plugins that mimic the old PvP style, preferably 1.8 as the main version.

    The major reason for the global chat is due to decreased numbers. We are planning to return to the sub-server only chats when counts are higher. As for the toggle, that can be discussed.

    More staff can be very helpful in my opinion because of all the hacking madness and atls that has been happening lately. Staff cant be on at certain times and we have different time zones, so staff members at different advantages could be crucial

    I think this is also a good idea but some plugins and stuff are expensive, so thats why im more on the staff.

    We have no problem with investing a bit more on anticheats. But the problem is finding a good one that:
    a) Won't affect players' gameplay in terms of lag, hit registration and physically lagging players back,
    b) Won't have many false positives and autokick or alert us randomly,
    c) Can actually detect the usual hacks instead of being bypassable.

    And with staff numbers, we are still continuously looking for promising members, but there aren't many that stand out.

    I agree with the staff bit, most of the times in the morning for UK. When I get on I see no staff until like 3pm, and a lot of time I had seen hackers on that morning. Also will Adaytoremember still be playing mc after they arrive wherever they are going?

    Done. AAC has been implemented into KitPVPRetro. We will be working on perhaps coding our own anticheat in the future.

    They already are, as I told them they would when they were complaining about not having an anticheat months ago. We still have to mess around with the configuration a little to make it compatible with gamemodes, and then we will be monitoring the plugin further. We disabled any autokicks or lag backs, because we only need the detection and alert.
