    Did you know that 90% of the recent instability across the network was caused by 1.7? This instability was crashing the full network, not just minecraft. We had to drop 1.7, which was released in 2013, to keep the server at 100% uptime. As well as the developers of the 1.7 compatibility software released a statement saying that are not offering any support for 1.7 because most mods have updated by now.
