Idk why anyone would be happy to go to a border. I used to live less than 5 minutes from one, and there's nothing happy about seeing people who are less than 30 feet from a land of 'freedom', but will never reach it because of the way this world works. More than anything, its depressing.
Oh. Mexico is technically a free country. Also, thousands come across every day, so... many do indeed make it over here. How long they stay here varies widely but.. yeah.
The people Im talking about are the dirt poor, without papers. I've seen them literally walk next to the fence, just sit down, and stare through the holes in the fence.
Well, it is sad and the Mexican government is nothing more than a tool of the cartels. It is sad, as I said. There isn't really anything to do, though.
